Cincinnati-Based Arena Refusing to Do Business with AEW

The Heritage Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio reportedly has rejected offers from All Elite Wrestling to host a future event for the company, according to Fightful.

Sean Ross Sapp reported that the venue has recently refused to do business with AEW due it having an existing working relationship with WWE and being unwilling to host non-WWE wrestling events. Sapp reported that Jon Moxley has been pushing the idea for AEW to run a show in the city later this year due to that being his hometown. It was also reported that AEW officials had viewed the arena as their preferred choice for any event in the city.


Bad Luck Fale Comments on Management Issues Preventing AEW-NJPW Partnership

Fightful held a recent interview with Bad Luck Fale and one of the topics discussed included his thoughts on the issues preventing a potential AEW and New Japan Pro Wrestling partnership from forming.

“There’s a lot of behind the scenes stuff with the office. All I know is the relationships are okay with all the wrestlers. Not sure what the company between New Japan and All Elite, that kind of dealings is going on. I’m not sure what’s happening there. Maybe that’s the reason. But, I think at the same time the relationship between the office and the wrestlers might have been a little rocky.”


Misc. Wrestling News & Notes

Major League Wrestling announced that they have recently signed Zachary Cooper to an official contract with the company. MLW also announced that Cooper will be making his official debut at their Intimidation Games 2020 event on April 18th in Cicero, Illinois.

Ring of Honor announced that Kenny King will be making an appearance at their Supercard of Honor XIV event on April 4th in Lakeland, Florida.

ROH also recently announced that Sumie Sakai is the first official entrant for their upcoming Women’s World Championship tournament, which starts on April 24th at their Quest For Gold event in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Game Changer Wrestling announced that this year’s Tournament of Survival event will be taking place on June 6th in in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
