Spoiler Warning: This post may contain spoilers for tonight’s SmackDown.
The Miz is “sick” and is off of WrestleMania, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio.
There are no details available about his condition, but WWE has been extra cautious and wrestlers who show any symptoms have been immediately taken off of the show and told to self-quarantine.
The Miz and John Morrison were scheduled to defend the SmackDown Tag Team titles at WrestleMania against either The Usos or The New Day. A match between the Usos and New Day is scheduled to air tonight on SmackDown, and the winners were supposed to get a WrestleMania title shot.
Meltzer said on Observer Radio that the Usos were upset that The Miz was sick, which indicates that they were the scheduled opponents at WrestleMania. Meltzer also said that Miz’s illness played into Roman Reigns’ decision to pull himself from WrestleMania over coronavirus concerns.
