WWE and Others File New Wrestling Trademarks

WWE, Chris Jericho, Billy Gunn, and Thunder Rosa filed several new trademarks to the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Trademarks for “LRLR“, “Left Right Left Right” and “LEFTRIGHTLEFTRIGHT” were filed by WWE on February 25th for merchandise-related purposes. Left Right Left Right is a gaming series overseen by Xavier Woods on WWE’s YouTube gaming channel.

A trademark for “Painmaker Posse” was filed by Chris Jericho on February 27th for wrestling and merchandise-related purposes.

A trademark for “Gunn Show” was filed by Billy Gunn on February 27th for wrestling and merchandise-related purposes.

A trademark for “Thunder Rosa” was filed by Thunder Rosa on March 2nd for entertainment and wrestling-related purposes.

Ring of Honor News & Notes

Google reportedly has recently agreed to a temporary extension of their current television deal with Sinclair Broadcasting to keep FOX Sports Net stations on their YouTube TV service while both sides negotiate a new television deal, according to the Wrestling Observer. Ring of Honor currently airs on FOX Sports Net stations.

Tasha Steelz, Session Moth Martina, Mandy Leon, and Alex Gracia were recently announced to be the next set of official entrants for ROH’s Women’s World Championship tournament, which starts at their Quest for Gold event on April 24th in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Tracy Williams, Marty Scurll, Fred Yehi, and Yuji Nagata were recently announced to be the next set of official entrants for ROH’s Pure Championship tournament, which starts at their Pure Excellence event on April 10th in Columbus, Ohio. It was also announced that Yehi will be making his official debut for the company at this event.

ROH announced that ticket sales for their co-promoted War of the Worlds 2020 tour with New Japan Pro Wrestling have been pushed back to March 11th for HonorClub members and March 13th for the general public.

ROH announced a new match for the card of their Past vs. Present event on March 14th in Las Vegas, Nevada:
– The Havana Pitbulls (Rocky Romero & Ricky Reyes) vs. Bandido & Rey Horus

ROH also announced a new match for the card of their 18th Anniversary event on March 13th in Las Vegas, Nevada:
– ROH World Championship – Mark Haskins vs. RUSH (c)

A new match was also announced for the card of ROH’s Supercard of Honor XIV event on April 4th in Lakeland, Florida:
– ROH World Championship – Flip Gordon vs. winner of Mark Haskins vs. RUSH match at 18th Anniversary
