WWE Reportedly Working on Plans for Next Saudi Arabia Event

WWE is working on plans for their next event in Saudi Arabia, according to PWInsider. Mike Johnson reported that WWE officials originally considered a potential August 20th date in Jeddah for their next show, but this plan was dropped due to the date being too close to SummerSlam, which takes place on August 23rd, and the likelihood of temperatures being over 100 degrees during the event.

Johnson reported that WWE officials are currently considering a potential late October or early November date for their next event in the country.

Next Episode of WWE Untold to Feature Dennis Rodman

WWE announced that the next episode of their WWE Untold series on the WWE Network will air on March 22nd. This episode will feature NBA Hall of Famer Dennis Rodman and WCW’s Bash of the Beach 1998 event.

It was also announced that this episode will also feature interviews from Hulk Hogan, Diamond Dallas Page, and Eric Bischoff.

Official synopsis:

NBA Hall of Famer Dennis Rodman will discuss his headline-making foray into sports-entertainment on the next episode of the WWE Network original series WWE Untold.

Rodman piqued the curiosity of sports fans worldwide in the late 1990s when he entered the WCW ring as a member of the New World Order. Although Rodman made multiple appearances over a two-year span, perhaps none transfixed onlookers more than WCW Bash at the Beach 1998, where he teamed with nWo leader Hollywood Hogan to battle Diamond Dallas Page and another basketball luminary, Karl Malone, mere months after Rodman’s Chicago Bulls defeated Malone’s Utah Jazz in that year’s NBA Finals.

Now, for the first time ever, Rodman will tell his version of events, providing never-before-heard details about that marquee match and much more.

Updated WWE Backstage Ratings for February 25th

As noted before, the February 25th and March 3rd ratings for WWE Backstage were initially not known due to the show not being ranked in the Top 150 for those nights. The March 3rd episode was later revealed to have drawn 56,000 viewers.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that the February 25th episode, which featured the Bella Twins, drew 86,000 viewers on FS1.
