Alberto Del Rio Arrested for Allegedly Sexually Assaulting Woman

Alberto Del Rio was arrested over the weekend for allegedly beating and sexually assaulting a woman, according to the local NBC affiliate in San Antonio, TX.

An affidavit said that Del Rio, real name Jose A. Rodriguez Chucuan, assaulted the woman on May 3 after “accusing her of being unfaithful.” The woman claimed that Del Rio became angry after she wouldn’t admit to “the infidelity,” then he slapped her in the head multiple times. The woman said that Del Rio told her to “put on a dress and dance for him,” but she refused, and he told her to not cry or he’d take her son and “drop him off in the middle of the road somewhere.”

The woman alleged that Del Rio then tied her hands with boxing straps, put a sock in her mouth and “sexually assaulted her for several hours, using various objects.” Investigators said that he also punched her in the back during the assault, causing visible injuries.

Del Rio was arrested and charged with sexual assault. His bond, which was set at $50,000, was posted and he was released from jail around 3:30 AM on Sunday morning, the NBC story says.
