Some Impact news and notes, via PWInsider:
– There’s an idea to “spin TNA back off into its own series” and AXS TV is “high on the idea,” PWInsider says. Impact has brought back several TNA elements recently, including the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, with Moose crowning himself as champion.
– There’s also talk of doing another IPWF” territory special episode down the line, which would include Anderson and Gallows bringing back their Too Bad Chad and Sex Ferguson gimmicks.
– Impact taped several weeks of TV in Nashville, TN on Sunday and Monday.
– Rob Van Dam was back at the TV tapings.
– There have been rumors that the former Rusev could show up at Impact, but “there is nothing concrete to that story,” PWInsider says.
– There’s also no indication that Aces & Eights is returning, despite Impact’s teases. Neither Bully Ray or Ken Anderson were at Slammiversary or the TV tapings, so as of now, they won’t be back at least for the next several weeks of shows.
