Madusa Presenting Women’s Tag Team Cup Trophy on AEW Dynamite

Cody recently said on Twitter that Madusa will be making an appearance during this Saturday’s episode of AEW Dynamite to present the trophy to the winners of the finals of AEW’s Women’s Tag Team Cup tournament, which will be either the Nightmare Sisters or Ivelisse & Diamante.

Madusa previously appeared for the company during the first night of the Women’s Tag Team Cup tournament, which was held on July 31st on AEW’s YouTube channel.

New Japan Pro Wrestling recently signed a deal with FITE TV to air NJPW Strong on their service. The series airing status on New Japan World will remain unaffected while each episode on FITE TV will be priced at $5.99.

NJPW announced that Gabriel Kidd will be out of action for the company for at least next week’s set of events due to him recently suffering a neck injury.

FITE TV announced that they have recently hired Nick Aldis to be the company’s new Special Correspondent for their global digital brand.

Marcus “Buff” Bagwell reportedly was involved in a car accident earlier this week in Georgia and was hospitalized with serious injuries, according to PWInsider. Mike Johnson reported that the Cobb County Police Department stated that the accident was caused by Bagwell losing control of his vehicle and hit a curb and crashed into “free-standing bathroom” located next to a bus station.

LIDET Entertainment, former owner of Pro Wrestling NOAH, recently announced (via Fightful) that they will be launching a new wrestling promotion called GLEAT.

Stardom announced on Thursday that another member of their company has recently tested positive for the coronavirus and they have cancelled their August 22nd, 23rd, 29th, and 30th events as a precautionary measure.
