Serena Deeb defeated Thunder Rosa tonight on a United Wrestling Network Primetime Live show to become the new NWA World Women’s Champion.
Deeb was signed by AEW last month after being released by WWE as a Performance Center coach in April. Shortly after her win tonight, AEW congratulated her and announced that she will defend her newly won title tomorrow night on Dynamite.

According to PWInsider, Thunder Rosa, who has also recently wrestled in AEW, is still under contract with the NWA and didn’t drop the title because she’s leaving.
