NJPW Announces Concurrent Tournaments for This Year’s World Tag League and Best of Super Jrs.

New Japan Pro Wrestling announced that due to issues with the on-going coronavirus pandemic in Japan, this year’s World Tag League and Best of the Super Juniors tournaments will be held concurrently later this year.

Both tournaments will start on November 15th and conclude on December 11th.

The company also announced that as part of their precautionary measure for the coronavirus, they will be limiting the number of wrestlers participating in each tournament. It was also announced that events for each tournament will be held on alternating nights with the exception of the opening event and the final two events of the combined tour.

  • November 15 – Night One of World Tag League and Best of the Super Juniors in Aichi, Japan
  • November 16 – World Tag League in Ishikawa
  • November 18 – Best of the Super Juniors in Tokyo
  • November 19 – World Tag League in Tokyo
  • November 20 – Best of the Super Juniors in Tokyo
  • November 22 – World Tag League in Nagano
  • November 23 – Best of the Super Juniors in Takasaki
  • November 24 – World Tag League in Koriyama
  • November 25 – Best of the Super Juniors in Niigata
  • November 28 – World Tag League in Fujisawa
  • November 29 – Best of the Super Juniors in Tokyo
  • November 30 – World Tag League in Tokyo
  • December 2 – Best of the Super Juniors in Osaka
  • December 4 – World Tag League in Beppu
  • December 5 – Best of the Super Juniors in Kagoshima
  • December 6 – Final night of league matches for Best of the Super Juniors and World Tag League in Fukuoka
  • December 11 – World Tag League Finals and Best of the Super Juniors Finals in Tokyo
