WWE officials reportedly held a virtual “town hall” style meeting with their employees this past Thursday, according to PWInsider.
Mike Johnson reported that several notable high level company executives, including Stephanie McMahon and new WWE President Nick Khan, ran the meeting and announced that a new flexible work policy would be enacted going forward for office staff. Depending on their role in the company, employees now have the choice to either work from the office or their home and would no longer be required to return full-time to the office.
WWE’s new CFO Kristina Salen stated that going forward, she will be handling the presentations on the company’s quarterly earnings for employees and also be directly communicating with employees.
In regards to the status of live events, the company reportedly stated during the Q&A portion of the meeting that they are currently not sure when they will be able to resume live events due to the current situation with the coronavirus pandemic.
Johnson reported that general feeling about the meeting was mostly positive with the company thanking everyone for their hard work and wanting to increase communications so everyone has a better awareness of how WWE is doing.
