Trent said on Twitter that he’ll be out of action for months because of a partially torn pectoral muscle.
Hey I have a partially torn pec and will be out for months. It’s fine.

The last match he wrestled was on the December 16 episode of Dynamite in a 12 man tag match. It’s not clear when the injury happened, but he was clearly favoring his pec throughout a lot of the match.
AEW did an angle where Trent was shown being loaded into an ambulance on this past Wednesday’s Dynamite, with the implication that he was attacked by Miro and Kip Sabian.
