Last Wednesday, Paul Wight said that AEW would announce the signing of a “Hall of Fame-worthy talent” at Revolution. The next day, Tony Khan hyped up the signing some more, calling him a “huge, huge star” and “one of my all time favorite wrestlers” and saying that he’ll sign a “multi-year contract” with AEW.
At Revolution tonight, the major signing was revealed to be Christian, who was using his non-WWE name, “Christian Cage.”
Christian made his entrance, came out to the ring, revealed a t-shirt that said “Out. Work. Everyone.” and signed his AEW contract.
