WWE reportedly has recently promoted John Laurinaitis to a new role of Head of Talent Relations, according to the Wrestling Observer.
Dave Meltzer reported that while WWE has yet to officially announce his promotion, Laurinaitis will be reporting directly to WWE Executive Vice President of Operations Brad Blum as the company’s newest General Manager.
Meltzer reported that WWE is currently splitting their current talent relations department into a new talent management and talent branding departments. WWE’s new talent branding department reportedly will be in charge of booking the company’s talent for outside appearances, television commercials, films, and other third party engagements.
