Maki Itoh, who made her AEW debut at last month’s Women’s Eliminator Tournament and has since appeared at Revolution and on Dynamite, said today on Twitter that she’s going back to Japan and doesn’t currently have any more AEW dates scheduled.

Itoh lost to Riho in the main event of tonight’s premiere of AEW Dark: Elevation.
Since her announcement for the women’s tournament, she quickly became a cult fan favorite because of her in-ring charisma and Twitter personality.
