The NWA is scheduled to hold a new set of tapings from March 21-24, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio.
Production has been shut down since the coronavirus pandemic last year and TV tapings haven’t been held since January 2020.
In October of last year, Billy Corgan said that he was looking at bringing NWA Powerrr back “very soon.”
The NWA also recently removed all videos from its YouTube channel. Meltzer said that a “positive announcement” regarding that would be made soon. Wrestling Inc. says that the videos were removed because of a new distribution deal which should be announced soon, and all videos would be available through their new partner. They added that the new partner is not related to AEW or WWE. The new deal would presumably bring more revenue to the company.
