AEW Revolution 2021 Estimated to Set New All-Time AEW PPV Buys Record

This past Sunday’s AEW Revolution 2021 event reportedly is currently expected to become the highest selling pay-per-view event in AEW history, according to PWTorch.

PWTorch’s Sean Radican reported that the early returns for Revolution’s pay-per-view buys revealed that this event was one of AEW’s highest selling events to date. Radican reported that Tony Khan stated that early estimates and data also currently point to Revolution 2021 breaking the company’s all-time record for most PPV buys.

In an interesting note, the Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer reported that AEW’s Revolution 2021 event was the fifth most searched term on Google on Sunday with around 200,000 searches overall. Meltzer reported that this was the most Google searches for an AEW event since Double or Nothing 2019.
