WWE: Daniel Bryan Felt “Detached” at WrestleMania, Triple H on “Imaginary” AEW War, A&E & WWE Network

Daniel Bryan Comments on Feeling “Detached” During Universal Title Match at WrestleMania 37

BT Sports held a recent interview with Daniel Bryan. One of the topics discussed included Daniel Bryan revealing that he felt “detached” during his Universal Championship match at WrestleMania 37 and a potential sign of it being time for him to walk away from wrestling.

“It’s taken me time to fully process what the experience was like because it wasn’t like a normal thing,” he explained. “. It was really weird, like out of body in it. When I’m wrestling, I feel everything and feel like I really enjoy it. This was weird, I was out there and it felt like I was detached. It was so strange in fact that before the match started, I got this strange feeling like, ‘Is this what it’s like before you die? Am I going to die? I was like huh, well, okay.’ I don’t know why or how it happened, but it was unlike anything I have felt while wrestling …

The odd detachment, I was like, ‘woah’. Like I said, I’m either gonna die or maybe it’s a sign that this isn’t it and it isn’t the same type of fulfillment that it was before. I’ve been trying to meditate on it and talk to my friends that I’m close with like ‘hey, what is that?'”

Bryan also revealed that his current contract with WWE is set to expire “relatively soon.”

Triple H Comments on WWE’s Wednesday Night War with AEW Being “Imaginary”

A recent episode of the Cheap Heat with Peter Rosenberg podcast had Triple H as the guest. One of the topics discussed included his thoughts on the recently concluded Wednesday Night War between WWE and AEW being “imaginary” in his eyes.

“The promotional opportunity for us is much better on a Tuesday. And also then not having to have a narrative where it’s just constantly about an imaginary war, or this imaginary battle. And, you know, people can say what they want, but the truth of the matter is you compete against everything. If you are creating a television product or content– that is the world we live in is content not television, not internet. It’s everything. So you’re constantly competing for eyeballs and time against everything under the sun, including sleep and time to do other things, and video games, and Tik Tok and everything else that’s out there.”
