Riho has been out of action for the past month or so due to a “bad reaction” to the COVID-19 vaccine, but she’s feeling better and should be back soon, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
She last wrestled on the July 12 Dark: Elevation (taped July 7), beating Amber Nova. After about an 11 month absence due to COVID travel restrictions and her living in Japan, she returned to AEW in February.
The Observer also previously reported that she’s now living in the US full time.
