As noted before, WWE is currently in the process of overhauling their NXT brand and developmental system. Some of the new changes includes a new logo for NXT and both Vince McMahon and Bruce Prichard having a more hands-on role for the brand.
Fightful Select reported that several NXT talent spoken to stated that they were still being kept in the dark over WWE’s plans for the new direction of their NXT brand. One of those plans reportedly included WWE wanting “more characters” on NXT but in a broad sense.
Several NXT talent spoken to also stated that they have been kept in the dark of who will be running NXT shows following Triple H’s recent health issues, which was also kept as a secret from talent until WWE’s public announcement.
In regards to the new changes to the Capitol Wrestling Center venue, several NXT talent spoken to praised the new changes as being a physical improvement over the previous venue and mentioned it looking more similar to scaled down main roster television set.
