Preliminary “fast national” viewer numbers for last night’s WWE SmackDown and AEW Rampage have been revealed.
– WWE SmackDown drew an estimated 793,000 viewers on FS1 from 8PM – 10:30PM
– AEW Rampage drew an estimated 549,000 viewers on TNT from 10PM – 11PM
These numbers are just preliminary estimates based on a limited number of markets and the final viewer amounts and rating numbers should be released on Monday by around 4:30 PM ET.
Data isn’t available yet for how SmackDown and Rampage did when going head to head from 10 – 10:30.
18-49 ratings also aren’t available yet. Based on past ratings numbers, Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics estimated that the viewer numbers above would translate to about a 0.22 rating for SmackDown and a 0.19 rating for Rampage, but we’ll have to wait for Monday for the actual numbers.
Rampage’s “Buy In” special from 9 – 10 PM on YouTube currently has over 600,000 views, 16 hours after it aired.
