Fan Attacks Seth Rollins on Raw

A fan tackled Seth Rollins on the entrance ramp tonight on Raw at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn and held him down briefly until WWE officials and security were able to pull the man away.

The attack was briefly caught on camera on Raw. After a segment where Rollins laid out Finn Balor, he was walking back down the entrance ramp when a fan suddenly tackled him hard, taking him down.

In this fan video, referees and security pull the fan off of Rollins as he grabs onto Rollins’ hair. Rollins gets up and screams at the man before he’s taken away by a group of people.

ESPN’s Marc Raimondi tweeted, “A 24-year-old male has been taken into custody in Brooklyn following an attack on WWE wrestler Seth Rollins during the Raw TV show in Brooklyn, an NYPD spokesperson told ESPN. Charges are pending. No name released yet.”

“WWE takes the safety of its performers very seriously,” WWE said in a statement to ESPN. “The individual who attacked Seth Rollins has been turned over to the NYPD and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”
