Goldberg is set to return to WWE imminently, according to a report by Fightful Select.
The working plan right now is for him to wrestle at the upcoming Elimination Chamber PPV on February 19 in Saudi Arabia. The most recent plan that Fightful says they heard is Goldberg vs. Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship, though in WWE, plans can change rapidly.
Goldberg was scheduled to wrestle Reigns for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 36 in 2020, but Reigns pulled himself from the card over coronavirus concerns and instead, Goldberg faced Braun Strowman at that show.
If Goldberg has a match at Elimination Chamber, it would be the final one on his current WWE contract, though he could always sign a new deal.
