Shane “Swerve” Strickland, formerly Isaiah Scott in WWE, will be signing with AEW soon if he hasn’t already, according to Fightful Select.
The deal is reportedly set to take effect in the first week of March and many within AEW were operating under the assumption that Strickland was coming in soon since January, Fightful says.
AEW reportedly inquired about Strickland very soon after his WWE release in November.
