As noted before, WWE is currently working on plans for Stone Cold Steve Austin to make an appearance at this April’s WrestleMania 38 event in Dallas, Texas, including the possibility of Austin facing off against Kevin Owens in a match at the event.
Dave Meltzer reported in a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that his sources say that WWE officials are also currently working on plans for another “Austin-level” surprise for WrestleMania. Meltzer said that he was not told who this surprise person would be but he speculated it had to be someone on the level of a Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, The Undertaker, Hulk Hogan, or Ric Flair in terms of status. Meltzer said that it is probably not likely that this surprise person would be The Rock nor John Cena due to scheduling issues.
