WWE Reportedly Considering Changes to Hall of Fame Ceremony Format

WWE reportedly is currently considering potential changes to the format of their Hall of Fame ceremony, according to the Wrestling Observer Radio.

Dave Meltzer reported that his sources stated that WWE officials currently believe it might not be possible for all of their planned Hall of Fame inductees to be inducted on the live show for this year’s ceremony. Meltzer reported that the main issue is due to the 90 minutes time limit scheduled for the event and a considerable amount of that time is currently expected to be devoted to just The Undertaker’s induction.

Meltzer reported that some of the inductees might be inducted digitally but did specify if this means a short video speech or just a video package for certain people and acts.

Meltzer stated “Undertaker is going to get the big grand treatment and then I would presume Vader probably will…but a lot of the other guys, there’s been talk of, again with the 90 minutes, not even doing a ceremony but just doing it digitally.”

In regards to other potential names for this year’s Hall of Fame class, Mat Men Pro Wrestling’s Andrew Zarian reported that his sources stated that Sid Vicious is currently expected to be added to this year’s class of inductees.
