WWE: Vince McMahon on WWE’s Future Without Him, Peacock President on WWE Partnership, NXT

Vince McMahon Comments on Future of WWE Without Him

A recent episode of The Pat McAfee Show had WWE Chairman Vince McMahon as the guest. One of the topics discussed included McMahon’s thoughts on the future of WWE without him around to run the company.

“I don’t think about it a lot. Hopefully, if you built something, you want it to continue on and prosper and grow, whether that’s with a family member or without a family member. My view is, the business is best for everybody, whether you’re part of it or not. you have to treat it as such. You Have to be objective and look at family members just like you would other employees. Quite frankly, I’ve probably expected more out of my family members, which is probably not the right thing. You have to do the right thing for the business. If this person is not working out, then they shouldn’t be part of the company.”

Peacock President on Current Partnership with WWE

Entertainment news website Vulture.com held a recent interview with NBC Peacock President Kelly Campbell. One of the topics discussed included Campbell’s thoughts on Peacock’s current working partnership with WWE.

“WWE has been an incredibly successful partnership for Peacock since launch. We invested in an incredible fan base that provides us the opportunity to bring those fans back time and time again with the massive live events that are part of the WWE franchise. We have WrestleMania, in fact, returning on April 3. This is already one of our biggest live events of the year. And we have an original series that I’m super-excited about featuring John Cena coming later this year called WWE Evil that I think will bring a fun new take on the space for this audience.”
