MJF ended up showing up for his match against Wardlow at last night’s Double or Nothing PPV after he no-showed a fan meet & greet the night before.
According to PWInsider, MJF showed up to the arena at “the last minute” and left immediately after his match.
Fightful added that MJF gave them a statement and “claimed to us that he showed up shortly before his match, left right after, and has a lot to think about.”
With MJF being stretchered off after taking 10 powerbombs from Wardlow, the expectation is that he’ll be off of TV at least for a couple of weeks.
In a media scrum after the PPV, Tony Khan was asked about the MJF situation and said that he was not going to comment on it.
“I am not gonna comment on that,” Khan said. “But I’ve got a lot of stuff on the PPV that I can comment on, but I’m not gonna comment on that.”
