WWE reportedly is currently considering plans to hold a NXT event at a stadium location this year, according to WrestleVotes.
It was reported that their sources stated that WWE officials recently held talks over the idea of holding another Stand & Deliver event this year. These same sources also stated that this potential event would take place at one of the remaining stadium locations for WWE events this summer.
In terms of potential locations, it was reported that WWE officials currently prefer the idea of having their NXT UK brand hold a potential event during the weekend of their Clash at the Castle event in Cardiff, Wales. WrestleVotes speculated that WWE likely would want their regular NXT brand to hold a stadium event during this year’s SummerSlam weekend in Nashville.
WWE has discussed adding another Stand & Deliver event for one of the 3 big stadium shows happening this summer. I’ve heard the preference is UK for Clash at the Castle, but Nashville/SummerSlam seems more likely. All TBD still.
