Claudio was Bryan Danielson’s hand-picked opponent for Zack Sabre Jr at the PPV, since Danielson is injured and unable to compete.
Claudio defeated Sabre in an excellent match with a powerbomb.

He’ll also be part of the Blood & Guts match on Wednesday’s Dynamite, teaming with Blackpool Combat Club, Eddie Kingston, Santana & Ortiz against the Jericho Appreciation Society.
He also appeared in a brawl at the end of the show to hype up the Blood & Guts match and gave Angelo Parker about 21 big swings.

He left WWE in February after his contract expired and the two sides were unable to agree to a new deal.
