Lynch’s guillotine leg drop to Belair onto the ropes. Belair’s underhook slam to Asuka onto Lynch into Belair’s handspring moonsault to Asuka & Lynch. Asuka’s double hip attack & double ankle locks to Belair & Lynch. Belair’s one arm lift counter of Lynch’s Dis-Arm-Her. Lynch’s Manhandle Slam to Belair. Asuka’s German suplex to Lynch into Lynch dodge & Dis-Arm-Her counter of Asuka’s hip attack into the ropes. Belair’s catch & underhook slam to Asuka in the corner into Lynch’s toss to Belair out of the ring & Manhandle Slam to Asuka into Belair’s toss to Lynch out of the ring & pinfall finish to Asuka. Match itself was a great action filled bout despite being a bit sloppy near the end. 2-on-1 Handicap match was mostly solid despite dragging at times. Owens vs. Ezekiel moments: Zeke’s flash knee strike & top rope elbow drop to Owens. Zeke’s knees counter of Owens’ top rope Swanton. Zeke’s leaping knee strike into Owens’ rope push counter of Zeke’s top rope attack setup into Owens’ superkicks, running cannonball, & Stunner finisher combo. Match itself was a pretty good back-and-forth bout. 6-Person Tag moments: Morgan’s leap up rana to Ripley via Styles’ lift assist. Styles’ knee strike to Priest on the apron & punch and Phenomenal Forearm to Edge. Ripley’s Half & Half suplex and deadlift suplex to Morgan. Morgan’s escape & spiked DDT counter of Ripley’s Riptide. Balor’s side kick to Priest into Ripley’s rope shake counter of Balor’s Coup de Grace setup. Priest’s sitout chokeslam to Balor into Styles’ Phenomenal Forearm to Priest into Edge’s hard chuck to Styles into the turnbuckle. Edge’s dodge & spear finisher counter of Balor’s Coup de Grace. Match itself was a quite good back-and-forth action bout despite dragging a bit long. Corbin vs. Moss moments: Corbin’s shove toss to Moss over the announcer’s table into Moss’ chair chuck at Corbin. Moss’ stiff chair whacks & DDT onto a chair to Corbin. Corbin’s shove into the announcer’s table to Moss via chair around his neck. Moss’ Fallaway slam to Corbin onto steel steps in the corner. Moss’ steel steps smash to a chair on Corbin. Match itself was a pretty good hardcore style bout. U.S. title match moments: Ali’s superkick counter of Theory’s Flying Nothing. Ali’s escape & STF counter of Theory’s A-Town. Theory’s dodge counter of Ali’s 450 into Theory’s chop block & A-Town finisher to Ali. Match itself was a pretty good back-and-forth bout. Hell in a Cell match moments: Rollins’ Dusty’s Polka Dot mocking gear was cool. Yikes at the nasty bruise on Rhodes’ chest from his torn pec injury. Rhodes’ dodge counter of Rollins’ Frog Splash through a table. Rhodes & Rollins’ impromptu Bull Rope fight. Rhodes’ cow bell boink to Rollin’s head. Rollins’ Buckle Bomb to Rhodes through a table in the corner. Rhodes’ Pedigree counter of Rollins’ Pedigree. Rollins’ curb stomp to Rhodes. Rhodes’ Cross Rhodes counter of Rollins’ Cross Rhodes. Rhodes’ double Cross Rhodes & sledgehammer shot finisher to Rollins. Match itself was a mostly great bout, especially the latter half, despite also being uncomfortable to watch at times. Hell in a Cell 2022 was a mostly very enjoyable show overall.

Show Notes – Opening Cody Rhodes promo about his pec injury, Rollins feud being over, MitB & Undisputed WWE title goal, & Rollins’ interruption about his newfound respect to Rhodes, Dusty praise, and handshake was splendid. Rollins’ sledgehammer ambush attack swerve afterwards was cool. Lynch vs. Brooke matches were a big pile of nothing topped by the 24/7 title & Asuka interruption shenanigans. Miz TV segment about Maryse rambling about Mrs & Miz show, Riddle’s bad French to Maryse, shout out to Randy and stepdad dig, trashing Reigns, and balls insults to Miz, Maryse’s Miz balls size retort, match setup, & ambush attack by Ciampa was a bit funny. Street Profits vs. Usos moments: Ford’s cannonball dive splatting Jey on the outside. Dawkins’ spinebuster & Ford’s Frog Splash to Jey. Match itself was going on well until the anti-climatic countout ending. Lashley’s promo about his win over MVP and Omos, Theory’s interruption bashing Lashley, banter, & match setup was a bit corny. Mysterio vs. Mahan was solid at best despite the DQ ending by Rey Mysterio. Judgement Day promo about their group’s destiny, Edge revealing Finn Balor as the newest member, Balor’s reasons for joining over him being tired of being told what to do by others, Priest saying they need to shed the last thing holding them back, & attack on Edge was all right. Balor being the new leader of J.D. is interesting despite Balor & Edge’s turns being very abrupt. Omos vs. Alexander was a nothing squash bout but Dirty Dawgs surprise return afterwards & confrontation with MVP was weird, especially Dirty Dawgs random face turn. Otis vs. Ezekiel was mostly solid. Ezekiel’s post-match promo demanding a rematch against Owens, Owens’ response accepting only if Zeke admitted to being Elias, & Zeke conning Owens into a rematch by lying he was Elias was all right. Women’s 4-Way match moments: Morgan’s kick counter of Ripley’s suplex to Bliss into Morgan’s running dropkick & Bliss’ DDT combo to Ripley. Bliss’ sunset bomb to Ripley into Doudrop’s crossbody splatting Bliss. Doudrop & Ripley’s superplex setup into Morgan & Bliss’ Tower of Doom. Doudrop’s catch & Michinoku Driver counter of Morgan’s top rope crossbody. Ripley’s Riptide finisher to Doudrop was both rough & impressive. Match itself was a good action filled bout. This week’s show was mostly enjoyable overall.

Show Notes – Opening Williams & Hayes promo about Hayes’ N.A. title win, boasting about his success, and trashing others for being losers, Sikoa’s interruption demanding a title shot, Waller’s interruption bashing Sikoa, banter, & brawl was all right. Briggs vs. Von Wagner was a solid hard hitting bout despite the ending shenanigans by Jensen & Henley. Frazer vs. Escobar moments: Escobar’s hard whip into the corner & tilt-a-whirl backbreaker to Frazer. Frazer’s clothesline, inverted DDT, & standing Shooting Star combo to Escobar. Escobar’s dodge & knee striker counter of Frazer’s twisting moonsault. Frazer’s apron kick & Phoenix Splash finisher to Escobar. Match itself was a quite good action filled bout. Bron Breakker’s promo about Joe Gacy and his NXT title, Apollo Crews’ surprise return and interruption praising Breakker and NXT, & NXT title match tease was all right. Crews’ abrupt face turn & WWE abruptly dropping everything about Crews’ Nigerian Royalty gimmick was a bit funny. Gacy’s dark room promo rambling about clearing his mind, special message, & mystery lackeys being revealed next week was lame. Stratton vs. Perez was mostly pretty good despite being a bit sloppy at times & dragging a bit too long. Post-match Mandy Rose’s promo mockingly congratulating Perez, threatening Perez, & brawl with Toxic Attraction, Cora Jade, and Indi Hartwell was awful, especially Rose forgetting her lines & rough delivery. Diamond Mine backstage segment about Strong’s praise to Creed Bros for their NXT Tag title win, interruption by Blade and Enofe wanting a tag title shot, Creed Bros accepting, & Strong bickering over Creed Bros’ response was decent. Gionavni Vinci’s newest vignette revealing him to be former Fabian Aichner & re-debut next week was nice. Waller & Hayes vs. Sikoa & Crews moments: Crews’ extra lengthy delayed suplex to Waller. Hayes’ tilt-a-whirl arm bar to Crews. Sikoa’s running hip attack to Waller into Crews’ slingshot dive to Hayes & Waller on the outside. Waller’s STO counter of Sikoa’s strike. Crews’ high angle back drop and Three Amigos to Waller & German suplex to Hayes. Crews’ standing moonsault to Waller. Crews’ catch & sitout powerbomb finisher counter of Waller’s rolling cutter. Match itself was a good back-and-forth action filled bout. This week’s show was mostly enjoyable overall.

Match itself was going on really well until the lame buzzkill double DQ ending & Michael Cole flubbing calling the action throughout the bout. Post-match McIntyre, Sheamus, & Butch brawl was cool though. Evans vs. Li was solid at best. Pearce & McIntyre backstage office segment about McIntyre being upset over the double DQ result & demanding to be put in the MitB match was all right. Pearce, Sheamus, & Butch backstage office segment about Sheamus demanding to be put in the MitB match was all right. Ronda Rousey’s promo about her upcoming match at MitB and bashing Natalya, angry interruption by Shotzi demanding a title shot, & Rousey accepting somewhat stunk. Shotzi vs. Rousey was a solid bbout. Post-match ambush attack by Natalya was decent. IC title match moments: Gunther’s block & loud brutal chop counter of Ricochet’s headscissors. Gunther’s catch & sleeper counter of Ricochet’s springboard Flying Nothing. Gunther’s stiff lariat counter of Ricochet’s running attack. Ricochet’s shotgun dropkick into Gunther’s rebound shotgun dropkick & powerbomb finisher. Match itself was a pretty good back-and-forth bout. Zayn vs. Riddle moments: Zayn’s brainbuster to Riddle. Zayn’s headbutt counter of Riddle’s super RKO into Riddle’s knee strike counter of Zayn’s Flying Nothing. Zayn’s draping DDT to Riddle. Riddle’s swift kick & Floating Bro off the apron to Zayn on the outside. Riddle’s powerslam & draping DDT to Zayn. Zayn’s catch & Blue Thunder Bomb counter of Riddle’s RKO. Match itself was a solid bout. Women’s Tag moments: Deeb’s catch & Dragon Screw onto the ropes counter of Yamashita’s kick in the corner. Deeb’s Indian Deathlock to Yamashita & suplex to Blue at the same time. Rose’s body slam & leg drop combo to Yamashita. Yamashita’ heel hook kick flooring Rose. Blue’s dodge of Rose’s cannonball in the corner into Rose’s sunset flip & Yamashita’s springboard kick combo to Rose. Deeb’s rope yank counter of Yamashita’s run to the ropes into Deeb’s uppercut to Yamashita flooring her. Yamashita’s bouncy sell of the uppercut was a bit funny. Death Triangle’s kicks fest & triple dropkick to Bononi. Lucha Bros’ setero tope suicidas & PAC’s moonsault combo to Wingmen on the outside. Fenix’s dodge, shove & lift onto Nemeth’s shoulder’s counter of Avalon’s running attack into Fenix’s kick to Nemeth into Nemeth’s powerbomb to Avalon. PAC’s Brutalizer to Nemeth & Lucha Bros double foot stomp Fear Factor finisher to Avalon. Match itself was pretty good. This week’s show was enjoyable overall.

Match itself was a solid bout. Daniels vs. Andrews was a solid back-and-forth brief bout. Blue vs. Shafir moments: Blue’s dropkick to Shafir on the apron during Shafir’s entrance. Blue’s tosses to Shafir into the barricades. Blue’s thrust kicks sending Shafir out of the ring into Shafir’s catch, swings in the barricade, & rough drop onto the floor counter of Blue’s headscissors off the apron. Shafir’s wrist control hip attacks & high collar throw combo to Blue. Shafir’s underhook hold, headbutt, judo throw, & arm bar finisher combo to Blue. Match itself was a pretty good hard hitting bout. Serpentico vs. Ortiz moments: Ortiz’s comeback lariat & Tiger Driver finisher combo to Serpentico. Match itself was a solid back-and-forth bout. Storm vs. Zhang moments: Storm’s misdirected dropkick to Zhang. Zhang’s knee strikes, judo throw, & crucifix hold to Storm. Storm’s dodge & release German suplex counter of Zhang’s strike into Storm’s running hip attack in the corner. Storm’s DDT & Storm Zero finisher combo to Zhang. Match itself was solid. Anthony Bowens’ vignette about being prideful of himself & wanting to help others be accepted over their sexuality was splendid. Ortiz’s backstage interview about his upcoming Hair vs. Hair match against Jericho was all right. Trios Tag moments: Caster’s pre-match rap mocking Dark Order for being lame enough to cause Stu Grayson to bolt & the crowd for using Android phones was all right. Silver’s tilt-a-whirl arm drag counter of Austin’s arm drag into Silver’s spinning uppercut. Austin’s duck & Colten’s lariat combo flooring Silver. 10’s running lariats to Gunn Club in the corners, clothesline to Caster over the top rope & slam to Colten combo. 10’s spinebuster to Austin. Reynolds’ sunset dive to Colten & Caster on the outside via 10’s lift. Caster chop block & Colten’s leg yank counter of Dark Order’s Pendulum Bomb to Austin. Match itself was an entertaining back-and-forth action bout despite the flat illegal crutch weapons shot ending shenanigans by Colten. This week’s show was mostly average overall.

Lee’s double overhand chops & Fenix’s double cutter to Gunn Club. Swerve eliminating Lee was interesting. Fenix’s Tornado DDT counter of Andrade’s slingshot suplex. Yuta’s release German suplex to O’Reilly into O’Reilly’s rebound lariat. Andrade’s brutal looking nut shot counter of Fenix’s leaping attack. O’Reilly’s Dragon Screw & big boot combo finisher eliminating Yuta. Match itself was a very entertaining chaotic action bout. Moxley’s angry backstage promo about the AEW title, O’Reilly, & NJPW was splendid despite AEW production botching the audio quality. AEW debuting a new All Atlantic title is interesting. Matthews vs. PAC moments: Matthews’ top rope DVD drop to PAC onto the turnbuckle. Matthews’s front suplex toss counter of PAC’s superplex into Matthews’ sunset flip & Liger Bomb combo. PAC’s kick & Poison Rana to Matthews from the top rope. PAC got some sweet height with his Black Arrow finisher to Matthews. Match itself was a very good hard hitting bout, especially the latter half. Finlay vs. Page was a good back-and-forth hard hitting match. Page’s post-match promo about not being included in the Interim AEW title stuff and wanting IWGP World title & interruption by Cole trashing Page and demanding the IWGP title shot instead was all right despite Cole’s portion being dull. Wardlow promo about not wanting AEW’s Interim title, wanting to beat Punk for the real title once he’s healthy, TNT title goal, & Scorpio Sky confrontation was all right. AEW Women’s title match was a mostly solid bout despite being a bit rough at times. Post-match ambush attack by Shafir & run-in save brawl by Storm was decent. O’Reilly vs. Moxley moments: Moxley’s stiff chop & punches to O’Reilly on the outside into O’Reilly’s whip & running dropkick counter of Moxley’s whip into the barricade. O’Reilly’s rope chomp break of Moxley’s Chicken Wing into Moxley’s swift kick into the ropes onto O’Reilly’s face into Moxley’s stiff King Kong lariat flooring O’Reilly. O’Reilly’s block & Triangle sleeper counter of Moxley’s Gotch Style Piledriver. O’Reilly & Moxley’s stiff forearms exchange into O’Reilly’s Saito Suplex into Moxley’s pop-up & Saito Suplex. Moxley’s sleeper, Bulldog Choke, knee strikes, Regal Knee, & Paradigm Shift finisher combo to O’Reilly. Match itself was a great physical battle. This week’s show was very enjoyable overall.

Post-match brawl by Rayne & Taya Valkyrie and confrontation between Rosemary & Valkyrie was okay. Good Bros’ Briscoes farm trip bashing the place and Birscoes, Doc Gallows vs. a chicken, & brawl with Briscoes and Papa Briscoe was a bit funny. Heath’s backstage interview about Rhino’s injury and uncertain future & threatening words to HNM was all right. Maclin vs. PCO moments: Ouch at PCO’s busted mouth after his rough landing from his spear to Maclin through the ropes. Maclin’s spinebuster onto the ramp counter of PCO’s running attack. PCO’s top rope senton to Maclin on the apron but ouch at PCO’s back after nailing the apron hard. Maclin’s whip into the steel steps. Maclin’s Tree of Woe spear to PCO in the guard rail. Maclin’s stiff kick to the steel steps onto PCO’s shoulder into PCO’s nasty looking shoulder afterwards. Maclin’s ref distracted chair shot & DDT onto the chair finisher to PCO. Match itself was a very good bloody physical battle. Matt Morgan’s surprise appearance was nice and backstage interview about his time in Impact & interruption by Vincent mocking past TNA guys was all right. Doering vs. Alexander was going on well until the DQ ending by Alexander. Moose’s backstage interview about Callihan’s threats & mind games was all right. Recap video of Ace Austin joining Bullet Club, Alex Zayne’s issues with Austin, & brawl was all right. Zayne being revealed as the final mystery entrant for the upcoming Ultimate X match was cool. Moose & Callihan cinematic backstage brawl was splendid. Cardona & Myers’ taped promo about Cardona bashing Swann for being a fraud Digital Media Champ & relinquishing his title to Myers as the new “real” champ was all right. HNM vs. Kazarian & MCMG 6-Man Tag moments: Shelley’s Boston Crab & Kazarian’s Camel Clutch, & Sabin’s running dropkick combo to Taven. MCMG’s double team suplex and running leg drops & Kazarian’s springboard leg drop to Bennett. Kazarian’s sunset roll to Taven & Northern Lights Suplex to Edwards double pin attempt.
