Thunder Rosa reportedly is currently dealing with an illness, according to PWInsider.
Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that Rosa was at this past Wednesday’s tapings of AEW Dynamite in Inglewood, California but was sent home by AEW’s doctor due to her feeling ill.
Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that his sources stated that besides Rosa, several of her friends who had attended the tapings with her were also sent home due to illness-related reasons.
In an interesting note, WhatCulture.com’s Andy Murray reported that his sources within the company stated that Rosa has been upset with AEW officials over her lack of television time since winning the AEW Women’s World Championship. Rosa reportedly was also upset over the lack of attention or focus given during this past Wednesday’s Dynamite show for her Women’s title victory over Serena Deeb at this past Sunday’s Double or Nothing 2022 event. Murray reported that Rosa was also upset that she was not invited to AEW’s Double or Nothing post-show media scrum since she had planned to advertise the auctioning off of her ring gear to benefit the families of the Uvalde school shooting attack.
