Kings of the Black Throne (Malakai Black & Brody King) vs. John Silver & Alex Reynolds

Black and King were accompanied by Julia Hart at ringside.

This was an even match, with Dark Order getting a near fall on King towards the end, which was broken up by Black. Black gave Silver a roundhouse kick, knocking him out of the ring, then he picked up Reynolds, tossed him to King, who nailed him with Dante’s Inferno for the win.

Winners: Kings of the Black Throne

As Kings of the Black Throne walked back down the ramp, Darby Allin jumped off one of the tunnels onto King and punched away at him. Malakai Black went to help, but Sting walked out of the tunnel and Black and Sting stared each other down as Allin and King brawled towards the ring.

Promo: Miro

Miro asked if God made a deal with the devil to stop him. He feels something closing around him and time is running out. “The darker it gets, the clearer I see you. Did you send the House of Black to destroy the Redeemer… or to recruit me?”

ROH Championship
Jonathan Gresham (c) vs. Lee Moriarty

Moriarty was accompanied by Matt Sydal at ringside. Gresham was accompanied by Tully Blanchard, Brian Cage and Gates of Agony.

The match started off slow, but picked up the pace in the last couple of minutes, with them trading unique roll up attempts, etc. In the end, Moriarty tried to kick Gresham in the face, but he blocked it, stomped on Moriarty’s foot, then locked on the Octopus Hold and Moriarty tapped.

Winner: Jonathan Gresham

After the match, Gresham was interviewed by Schiavone in the ring. Gresham said that he’s the best hold-for-hold wrestler in the world.

Claudio Castagnoli’s music hit and he stood on the ramp and he and Gresham jawjacked at each other. Seems to imply that Claudio will challenge for the ROH title at the ROH Death Before Dishonor PPV.

Backstage: Christopher Daniels

Daniels cut a promo backstage saying that Samoa Joe is going to choke out Jay Lethal at Death Before Dishonor, but if he keeps putting Joe’s name in his mouth, maybe Daniels will slap it out of his mouth.

Kris Statlander & Athena vs. Robyn Renegade & Charlette Renegade

Charlette and Robyn Renegade are twins and were dressed the same, with the same hair style.

Statlander and Athena immediately took out one of the twins, then Athena hit the other with a suplex, then the “Oh Face” (?) (stop rope stunner) for the win. This match was over in about 30 seconds.

Winners: Kris Statlander & Athena

After the match, Leila Grey got on the apron and started arguing with Athena. Kris Statlander then took her out, and they both double teamed Grey until Jade Cargill and Kiera Hogan ran out and laid out Statlander and Athena.

Backstage: Lee Moriarty, Matt Sydal, Dante Martin

Stokely Hathaway immediately interrupted the backstage interview and said that Moriarty should be doing more. There’s a big opportunity coming his way. But what is Matt Sydal going to do for him? He tried to give his business card to Moriarty, but Sydal took it and tore it up. He said Lee doesn’t need him and he has the opportunity of a lifetime for Moriarty. Next week it’s going to be Moriarty vs. Dante Martin. Martin showed up and shook Moriarty’s hand.

In-Ring: The Gunn Club, The Acclaimed

Schiavone interviewed the Gunn Club in the ring. Billy Gunn said that everyone loves the Acclaimed, but there comes a time when Daddy Ass has to drop the hammer.

The Acclaimed’s music hit and they came out to the ring. Billy tried to calm things down. He asked Acclaimed to “scissor me, daddy-o,” but they superkicked Billy and everyone started to brawl, with the Acclaimed clotheslining them out of the ring.

Max Caster then rapped in the ring. “Billy Gunn, you ain’t nothing by an asshole. How you so big but you hung like a tadpole? And Ass Boys, more like Dumb and Dumber, come back and fight us you broke mother f–” Bowens took the mic away and led and “Ass Boys” chant. He asked for a match right now, but Austin said no and they left.

The Lucha Brothers vs. Private Party

Mark Henry did his usual interview. Andrade was with Private Party. Private Party seemed annoying, saying they’ve been trying to call and text Andrade, but can’t rely on him. Penta and Fenix said something in Spanish, and Alex translated. He said that Andrade forgot about Lucha culture and removing a mask doesn’t make him better than them, and he’s a piece of trash.

To the ring, Private Party was accompanied by Andrade and Jose the Assistant. After some back and forth, Private Party worked away on Fenix until he made the hot tag, but Penta unfortunately slipped jumping off the top rope, but he recovered and hit a flurry of offense.

Penta went for the Fear Factor, but Jose the Assistant got on the apron. Alex then pulled him down and put him in a headlock. Andrade then got on the apron, but Penta superkicked him off. Rush then ran in the ring and nailed Penta in the back as the ref was distracted. He stood in the ring way too long though and the ref turned around and obviously saw him.

Quen tried to capitalize on the interference, but Penta countered into a Canadian Destroyer. Fenix was tagged in and hit the Black Fire Driver on Quen for the win. Kind of a sloppy match.

Winners: The Lucha Brothers
