AEW taped this week’s Rampage Wednesday night after Dynamite.
Results
- Orange Cassidy & Best Friends defeated Jay Lethal, Satnam Singh & Sonjay Dutt via Orange Punch by Cassidy on Dutt. The heels attacked Cassidy after the match, but Wardlow ran out to make the save and stared them down, but they left the ring before any contact.
- Ethan Page defeated Leon Ruffin via Ego’s Edge in a squash match
- Lee Moriarty defeated Matt Sydal via submission. Stokely Hathaway gave his business card to Moriarty after the match.
- In-Ring: Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Chris Jericho – New ROH Champ Claudio came out and cut a promo thanking the fans, etc. He brought out Wheeler Yuta, but Yuta was interrupted by Chris Jericho, who was on commentary. They exchanged barbs and Yuta said that he already beat Daniel Garcia at the ROH PPV and he knows he can beat Jericho. Jericho challenged him to a match, but Yuta declined. Jericho then said that if Yuta can beat him next Wednesday on Dynamite, Yuta can take Jericho’s place in the AEW Interim World Title match against Moxley in two weeks. Yuta implied that he tricked Jericho, saying that was easy, and agreed to the match.
- Anna Jay defeated Ruby Soho via Queenslayer, using Ruby’s cast for the choke out
