WWE announced during today’s episode of WWE The Bump that the scheduled Riddle vs. Seth Rollins match for this Saturday’s SummerSlam 2022 event has been postponed to a later date.
The official reason given was due to WWE stating that Riddle had suffered a “really bad stinger” following Rollins sneak attack on Riddle to close out this past Monday’s RAW show at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York.
BREAKING: @WWERollins injured @SuperKingofBros with a vicious attack on #WWERaw that resulted in a brachial plexus injury (a stinger). Riddle is medically disqualified until full strength returns.

Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that Riddle’s injury is not legitimate and instead is just for storyline-related purposes. WWE officials reportedly recently made the decision to postpone this match so it could take place instead at their Clash at the Castle event on September 3rd in Cardiff, Wales.
