WWE: Staff Reportedly Barred from Trading WWE Stocks, SummerSlam Weather Update, New Series

WWE Employees Reportedly Currently Barred from Trading WWE Stocks

WWE reportedly is currently prohibiting their employees from trading WWE stocks, according to Wrestlenomics.

Brandon Thurston reported that WWE Senior Vice President and Assistant General Counsel James Langham recently sent an internal memo to WWE employees informing them of the recent changes to the company’s policy for trading company stock. This memo stated that all WWE employees are currently not allowed to sell nor buy any company stocks.

Thurston reported that this new restriction has been in place since this past Friday following Vince McMahon’s retirement announcement.

“Please be advised that, in light of recent developments, the Company’s trading window has closed effective immediately for all employees. Until further notice you are prohibited from any purchases or sales of Company securities. You are also instructed not to speak with others about this note.”


SummerSlam 2022 Weather Status Update

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that the updated weather forecast for this Saturday’s SummerSlam 2022 event at the Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee currently calls for a possibility of thunderstorms taking place.

The Nissan Stadium does not featured a retractable roof nor a roof at all should it thunder and/or rain during the time WWE’s event takes place.

It is currently not known what WWE’s plans are should their upcoming event be impacted as a result.


WWE Announces Debut of New Series for Peacock & WWE Network

WWE recently announced that they will be debuting a new series called WWE This Is Awesome this Friday on NBC’s Peacock and WWE Network. It was also announced that Kinda Funny Games’ Greg Miller will be the host of this upcoming new series.
