As noted before, Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite featured Thunder Rosa announcing that she recently suffered an injury and as a result would not be able to compete at AEW’s All Out 2022 event next month. It was also announced that a Four-way match for an Interim AEW Women’s World Champion would be taking place at the event.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that the rumors and reports of Rosa being pulled from All Out 2022 due to her being suspended for undisclosed reasons are not true.
In a separate report, Johnson reported that his sources stated that Rosa’s injury is legit and she had recently suffered a disc injury in her back. Rosa reportedly had been trying to work through the injury in recent weeks. Johnson reported that AEW officials currently do not have any timetable for her return from injury.
