AEW taped this week’s Rampage Wednesday night after Dynamite.


Results

  • Darby Allin defeated Matt Hardy via the Last Supper. After the match, the lights went out and when they came back on, Julia Hart was in the ring facing Matt Hardy. Brody King was behind him and nailed him with a lariat. He then challenged Darby Allin and Sting to a No DQ tag match next week at Grand Slam.
  • In-Ring: Claudio Castagnoli, Chris Jericho – Claudio came out (with Wheeler Yuta) for an in-ring interview by Tony Schiavone and cut a promo listing Blackpool Combat Club’s achievements and saying one of them will be World Champion next week. Chris Jericho got up from commentary and said he’s never been ROH World Champion and wants to win it, so he challenged him to a match at Grand Slam next week and Claudio accepted.
  • Backstage: Jade Cargill, Diamante – Jade Cargill cut a promo backstage saying that she had no challengers left. Diamante walked up and challenged her to a match next week in NYC and teased bringing a friend with her.
  • Penelope Ford defeated Willow Nightingale via Muta Lock submission.
  • Ethan Page defeated Danhausen via Ego’s Edge in a quick squash match. Stokely Hathaway cut a promo in the ring after the match.
  • ROH World TV Championship: Samoa Joe (c) defeated Josh Woods via Muscle Buster. Woods and Tony Nese attacked Joe after the match, but Wardlow ran out for the save. They were going to attack Mark Sterling, but Woods and Nese pulled him away to safety. Joe and Wardlow faced off for a second but then celebrated together.
