AEW reportedly held a new backstage talent meeting prior to Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite Grand Slam 2022 show in Queens, New York, according to Fightful Select.
It was reported that their sources stated that this meeting was more of a pep talk for talent and the general reaction was very positive based on those spoken to.
One longtime AEW talent spoken to stated that the backstage atmosphere has felt much more laid back these past three weeks than it was before AEW’s All Out 2022 event. Another veteran talent spoken to stated that the backstage mood within the locker room has been at its best in quite a while in recent weeks.
One talent spoken to stated that the changes in backstage mood has been an “addition by subtraction” but would not specify who they meant by their statement.
