In-Ring: Jay White, Bang Bang Gang, The Dogs

Commentary welcomes us to the show before we head to ringside, where the Bang Bang Gang led by Jay White make their way alongside The Dogs to the ring. We take a look back at what went down on Dynamite, where the Gang ended up attacking The Conglomeration and Death Riders to align themselves with The Dogs. The group gets boos from the crowd, which Jay says they shouldn’t be. He starts to refer to the group with him as the Bang Bang Gang, but decides that maybe need a new name.

He starts to tease a familiar name for the first time on American soil…but says to f-f-f-forget about calling them Bullet Club. They need to be more than just a club. He addresses reuniting with Connors and Finlay again, admitting that he’s had his issues with David in particular but says he’s willing to work together again. He then says he’s always been cool with Connors, before turning his attention to Moxley whom we should “get used to seeing down” after Wednesday.

He then offers some advice to Marina Shafir, getting some heavy boos when he starts to tell her to “soften up” before turning his attention to the Conglomeration. He says he can’t stand the thought of having a broken back while Orange plays “tippy tappy tae kwon do.” From there he turns his attention back to Moxley, bringing things around by addressing that he wants to take the Continental Championship. He talks about his group (named The Last Outfit during the course of this promo) laying waste to the Death Riders and Conglomeration. You’d better be down with the Last Outfit, and if you’re not they still have two words for you…but he doesn’t reveal what those words are now, as the group poses while Jay’s music hits.

Backstage: The Conglomeration

Backstage, we hear from The Conglomeration. Kyle makes fun of Jay acting like a big man before promising they’ll make it the last night for the Last Outfit.

Video: FTR, Motor City Machine Guns

We go to a video package hyping up the Best of 5 Series between FTR and Motor City Machine Guns. MCMG are up 1-0 after the first match at Tailgate Brawl, and tonight continues the series!

Best-Of-Five Series – Match #2
FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) vs. Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin)

Sabin and Wheeler start things off, locking up until Cash gets Chris to the corner. Sabin backs out of the corner but gets caught with a backslide by Wheeler for a nearfall. Tag made to Harwood, who riles up Shelley to come in before the ref intervenes. From there, Harwood sends Sabin to the ropes but gets taken by surprise with an inside cradle for two.

Tag made to Shelley as he overwhelms Dax, forcing him to leave the ring for a breather. Dueling chants for both teams from the crowd as Dax slowly makes his way back to the ring, but Sabin has tagged back in by this point. Dax with a side headlock, but Sabin pushes him toward the corner forcing a break. The two fire off strikes in the corner, with Sabin forcing Harwood to the opposite side. Hammer throw leads to a back body drop by Sabin, who gets a nearfall.

Knee to the gut by Dax, with Wheeler getting a blind tag as they double-team Sabin. Cash with a chop forces Sabin to the ropes, and Cash brings him back up with a side headlock. Dax and Shelly come in as chaos ensues, but the Guns send FTR to the outside for a dive as we go to ad break.

Shelley and Dax the legal men as we come back, with Alex taking Harwood to the canvas with an avalanche belly to back to suplex. Cash comes in as FTR double-team Shelley…who makes a tag to Sabin, allowing him to fire off on both men before taking Dax down for two. Wheeler comes back in but so does Shelley, who takes Wheeler out of the ring before Sabin takes Harwood to the mat with a sunset flip for another nearfall. Wheeler stops the Guns from any further damage, but a stuffed piledriver is blocked by Shelley as Sabin gets a two count on Harwood.

Dax with some hard strikes sending Sabin to the mat. Tag to Cash as they look for Shatter Machine, but Sabin fights them off…until Dax catches him with a German suplex, with a folding press pin by Wheeler garnering a nearfall. Cash with some uppercuts on Sabin until Chris goes for a backslide, instead having to knock Dax off the apron…but this allows Wheeler to take Sabin down for two!

Tag to Shelley as the pair set up for a high-angle Rocket Launcher, but a distraction from Stokely allows enough time for Wheeler to kick out. Dax comes in, sending Sabin out before Shelley gets laid out with a Shatter Machine. Cover by Wheeler…but Chris comes in to break it up just in time. Sabin and Dax trade strikes until they send each other over the top rope to the outside.

Wheeler counters a victory roll and with an assist from Stoke and the rope allows FTR to steal the win!

Winner: FTR via Pinfall.

FTR celebrates.

Video: Will Ospreay, Adam Copeland, Don Callis Family, Darby Allin, Steven Borden, Nick Jackson

We take a look back at Dynamite this past Wednesday, where the Don Callis Family went after Adam Copeland and Will Ospreay until Darby Allin and Steven Borden get involved. This leads to the reveal of our teams for Blood and Guts.

Video: Will Ospreay, Adam Copeland, Don Callis Family, Darby Allin, Steven Borden, The Young Bucks

In an exclusive following the show, we hear from Ospreay, who addresses the two rings, one cage, and two ways out: submit or surrender. He knows the majority of his squad won’t submit or surrender but checks with Cope, saying he can call this however he wants. Will he submit or surrender? Cope responds by telling Don Callis and his family that he “swims in blood and guts” and promises trouble for the Family on November 4 in Jacksonville.

With that, the squad walks off as we go to commercial break.

Eight-Person Mixed Tag Team Match
Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor, Trish Adora, & The Infantry (Carlie Bravo & Capt. Shawn Dean)) vs. Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Marina Shafir, & Daniel Garcia)

We head back to ringside as Shane Taylor Promotions makes their entrance for our next match, and an inset promo has STP addressing the new factions forming and how they’re ready to take on anyone in a fight. We cut to the parking lot as the Death Riders roll up in a pickup truck, making their entrance through the crowd…and they get right into it with STP as we get this match underway!

Everyone else is fighting on the outside while Mox goes after Taylor inside the ring, and things finally settle down when Bravo gets a tag to go after the Continental Champion while the teams get to their proper corners. Bravo gets the upper hand on the champ before Mox turns things around for a tag to Shafir. They take Bravo to the ropes to drop him down hard before Trish gets in, getting some shots in on Shafir before Claudio and Dean tag in. Dean has Castagnoli in the corner, but Claudio dodges the BBC before tagging in Garcia, who take the Captain out as we go to ad break.

Back from break, STP are in control as Dean gets the BBC on Garcia. The group mocks him before Dean continues the attack…but in comes Moxley, who makes a beeline for Taylor sending him to the floor! Tag by Bravo as he lays some shots in on Daniel. Garcia manages to fight back for a tag to Claudio, who catches Dean for a giant swing. Bravo comes in but nearly gets swung before Taylor rushes in…only for Castagnoli to drop him with a big suplex! The numbers finally prove too much for him as Taylor is back up for a headbutt, sending Claudio to the mat.

Tags are made to Shafir and Adora as they lock up, but Marina quickly transitions into a cross arm breaker. Bravo tries to intervene but is caught with a Dragontamer by Garcia into a Mox stomp. Shafir transitions her hold to a Brutalizer, and the nod to the late PAC is enough to force Trish to submit!

Winner: Death Riders via Submission.

Mox grabs a microphone after the match, addressing what Jay White and his pals did on Wednesday. They want a war with the Death Riders, who have been at war with everyone for a long time. Jay made his move on Wednesday…and now, it’s their move. Death Riders take their leave as we’re told that Josh Alexander will be in action, up next!

Josh Alexander vs. Blake Brown

We head back to ringside as Josh Alexander makes his entrance for our next match, with Blade Brown already in the ring as we get this underway!

Josh boots Blade to the corner and continues the attack. Brown starts to fight back but the Walking Weapon is barely fazed as he sends Blade to the outside with a low cross body of sorts. He then sends Brown into the ring steps, and back in the ring for a modified piledriver followed by an ankle lock. Blade is knocked out cold from the piledriver, and can’t even respond as the ref calls for the bell.

Winner: Josh Alexander via Referee Stoppage.

RPG Vice joins Alexander in the ring as Josh gets a mic to address his Don Callis Family’s status going into Blood and Guts and beyond. He hypes up Davis and Doyle challenging for the tag titles, and Okada looking to continue to reign as International Champion. He thinks it’s time for himself to hold gold as well, calling out Darby for a shot at the TNT Championship at Fright Night Dynamite.

He also talks about how they smashed Cope’s face in at Dynamite last Wednesday, but he wants to fight Cope if he ever shows up again. This brings out the Rated R Superstar, who levels RPG Vice while Alexander escapes the ring. Davis and Doyle blindside Copeland, allowing Josh to get a few shots of his own in. Don Callis Family leave the ring as we get confirmation that Darby defends the TNT Championship at Fright Night Dynamite against Josh Alexander, before commentary talks about Blood and Guts and matches set for Full Gear.

Video: Ilja Dragunov

From there we go to a video looking back at the AEW debut of Ilja Dragunov.

Swerve Strickland vs. Myron Reed

With that, we head back to ringside for our next match. Out first is Swerve Strickland, followed by Myron Reed as we get this match underway…with Strickland blindsiding the Rascal!

Bell hasn’t even rung yet as Swerve takes Myron to the mat. Ref backs him off before checking on Reed, who nods that he’s good to go and we get the opening bell. Myron breaks free of a Vertebreaker attempt before sending Swerve to the outside for a dive, sending Strickland into the barricade. He brings Swerve back into the ring, sending him into the corner before driving him to the canvas for a nearfall.

Strickland fights him off from the corner before they trade shots, with Reed taking the hardest shot sending him to the mat. Reed back on his feet as he tries to fight back, but gets sent to the floor by Swerve who lands a kick to the head. He sends Reed into the ring post, and brings him over to the apron…only for Myron to shove him into the ring post and to the floor! Swerve up on his feet, just in time for Reed to dive over the turnbuckle sending him back down. He brings Strickland back in the ring, but Swerve turns things around with a brainbuster forcing Reed to the outside as we go to break.

Both men are back in the ring, with Swerve taking a Stundog Millionaire from Reed. Swerve rolls to the outside as Reed catches him with a dive, continuing to attack the face of Strickland. Guillotine leg drop on the apron as Myron gets back in the ring, keeping Swerve off his game with an enziguri. He gets Strickland on his shoulders for a “Hang Five” Flatliner off the rope for a two count. The fight heads back to the apron, but this time it’s Swerve in control as he hits a German suplex driving Reed onto the hardest part of the ring.

He brings Myron back into the ring but takes so long to go after him that Reed turns it around, sending Strickland back to the mat before going up top for a 450 splash and a nearfall. Swerve up on his feet as he charges from the corner, but runs into a boot from Reed. Myron hits the ropes but gets caught by Swerve, who keeps him from breaking away before dropping him with a Vertebreaker. He goes up top and a Swerve Stomp keeps Reed down for the win.

Winner: Swerve Strickland via Pinfall.

Swerve leaves the ring to celebrate

Video: Wrathlander, The Brawling Birds, Divine Dominion

Commentary discusses the World Trios Championship at Full Gear, as well as the Women’s World Tag Team Championship bout between Brawling Birds and Wrathlander. We’ll see Wrathlander in action tonight against Divine Dominion, looking for some revenge after being attacked at Dynamite. But right now, Collision rolls on as we return to ringside.

United Empire (“Speedball” Mike Bailey & Andrade El Idolo) vs. Steven Allen & Robert Allen

“Speedball” Mike Bailey and Andrade El Idolo make their entrances for our next match, the United Empire stablemates teaming together to face Steve Allen and Robert Allen already in the ring as we get underway!

“Speedball” Mike Bailey and Andrade El Idolo vs. Steve Allen and Robert Allen

Bailey and Steve (or is it Robert, I already forgot) start off with Allen getting an early advantage…but not for long, forcing the other Allen to make the tag. He ends up taking a hard kick to the face, and Andrade makes the tag as he already gets his pants off. Steve (thank you for the confirmation Nigel) comes after El Idolo, who sends him out of the ring as Bailey tags back in to get the pin on Robert for the win.

Winner: United Empire via Pinfall.

The quick match allows Andrade to get a selfie with a fan in the front row…only for Ciampa to appear from out of nowhere to attack El Idolo! He gets into it with Andrade until Bailey runs him off, and we take a look at what’s to come before going to commercial.

Divine Dominion (Lena Kross & Megan Bayne) vs. Wrathlander (Harley Cameron & Kris Statlander)

Bayne and Statlander start things off, with Kris being sent to the mat with a shoulder tackle. She fights back with a dropkick, but Kross blindsides her as Megan intercepts Cameron. Divine Dominon send their opponents crashing into each other, with Harley falling out of the ring as they double-team Statlander. They look to continue damage as Kross tags in, but Cameron gets the tag and a double-team allows Wrathlander to take control. This lasts until Megan takes Harley out from the corner, and Kross levels Stat. The pair drop Wrathlander with a pair of fall away slams, standing tall as we go to ad break.

Bayne attacks Harley some more before Lena tags in, with Cameron breaking out of a Divine Intervention attempt only to get beaten down some more. Kross with a nearfall when Stat breaks it up, and Bayne tags in to continue the damage…only to be dropped with a crucifix bomb by Harley! Stat with the tag with Kross coming in as well and Kris unleashes hell on both opponents, sending them to the outside for a cartwheel drop from the apron on Kross. She brings Lena back into the ring for a cover, but it’s only good for a nearfall. Bayne tries to intervene, only to be sent out…before Kross rolls Stat up for two.

They trade shots until Kris lands a pump kick, only for Kross to fight back with a twisted kick to the head. Stat breaks free of her grip before sending Kross to the mat with a throw, and heads up top…when the Sisters of Sin come running in! They attack both women, sending Kross out of the ring as the ref calls for the bell to throw this one out!

Winner: Wrathlander via Disqualification.

With Divine Dominion out of the ring, the Sisters focus on attacking Statlander with Thekla joining them, looking to whip Harley with her belt before Willow Nightingale comes out for the save…but it doesn’t last when she is overwhelmed by the Triangle of Madness and Divine Dominion, who also lay out Harley Cameron. They stand tall as we go to commercial break.

Backstage: Willow Nightingale, Wrathlander

We head backstage, where Willow and Wrathlander address what went down moments ago. Willow talks about Brawling Birds being on their side even tho they defend their titles against Wrathlander at Full Gear, and the trio reveal what they wanna do to get back at Triangle of Madness and Divine Dominion…calling them out for Blood and Guts!

Jay White vs. Kyle O’Reilly

Jay rolls out of the ring, not eager to face Kyle right away. He heads to the announce table for a quick stretch before getting back into the ring. Kyle drives him toward the corner, where Jay demands Kyle back off. Jay finally gets into it, but O’Reilly wrings his arm before Jay turns it around. This is countered by Kyle, who takes the Switchblade to the mat. Jay fights to his feet and gets to the ropes for a break…only to send O’Reilly to the corner for a chop. Kyle fights back with some kicks before Jay fends him off with a chop.

This goes back and forth until Kyle takes White to the mat once more. This time he transitions to an ankle lock, but Jay gets a break as he leaves the ring for a breather…only for O’Reilly to get the drop on him from the apron! He gets Jay to the barricade, but the Switchblade evades a knee strike before looking to attack him with a chair. Ref admonishes him, and Jay goes for a dragon screw instead…but Kyle fights out of it, before they get to the apron. This is where White gets the legwhip to connect, causing some damage to O’Reilly’s leg as we go to ad break.

Coming back from break, O’Reilly catches Jay with a kick from the turnbuckle. Jay is able to quickly fight back, attacking the knee to take Kyle down. O’Reilly tries to fight back but is kneed back to the canvas. He gets back on his feet and the two trade strikes, with Jay being taken down this time. Jay goes after O’Reilly but gets caught with a front guillotine. This gives Kyle an opening as he lays in a kick. Jay fights back until he gets taken down with a suplex by Kyle for two.

Jay tries to get back into it but O’Reilly cinches in a front guillotine with body scissors…only for Jay to break free, sending Kyle down hard with a dragon screw. He goes for another, but Kyle counters into a cross arm breaker–no! Jay rolls him up for two instead, following up with a Flatliner. Deadlift German suplex gets a two count before Kyle kicks out.

Jay brings O’Reilly to his feet, with Kyle trying to fight back before taking a chop block of sorts from the Switchblade. O’Reilly breaks out of a rear naked choke, only for White to gouge his eyes for a half and half suplex…but Kyle is back on his feet, taking out Jay! He goes for an armbar, but Jay quickly gets to the ropes for a break. Jay dodges a flying knee from the apron, taking Kyle out with a Blade Runner on the floor before dragging him back into the ring. He pulls O’Reilly to his feet for another Blade Runner and this gets the Switchblade the win in our Collision main event.

Winner: Jay White via Pinfall.

White rolls out of the ring as the Conglomeration come out to check on O’Reilly. Out come the Last Outfit, circling the ring as they stare down Cassidy and Strong…who try to take the fight to the Last Outfit, but to no avail. They get beaten down until the Death Riders’ music hits. Connors and Robinson try to wait for them in the crowd, but the Riders come in from the entrance with chairs instead! Death Riders and Last Outfit fight it out at ringside until Claudio is set up for a shillelagh shot by Finlay. Claudio stops it but is blindsided by Jay, only for Mox to come in with a fork in his hand to go after Switchblade.

Jay starts to fight him off when Cassidy comes in, but he gets sent crashing into Mox allowing Jay to hit both men with the Blade Runner. He regroups with the rest of the Last Outfit on the outside, looking at the damage they’ve done at ringside as Collision comes to a close.
