AEW: Ruby Soho Injury Update, The Acclaimed on Tag Titles Victory, New AEW Coaches

Ruby Soho Broken Nose Injury Status Update

As noted before, Ruby Soho suffered a broken nose injury during her mixed tag team match with Ortiz against Tay Melo and Sammy Guevara at AEW’s All Out 2022 event earlier this month.

In a video posted by One Pro Wrestling on Twitter, Soho provided an injury update stating that she will be undergoing surgery for her broken nose soon. As a result, 1PW announced that they have pulled Soho from the card of their A New Twist of Fate event on October 1st in Doncaster, England.


The Acclaimed Comment on Winning the AEW World Tag Team Titles

This past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite Grand Slam 2022 show in Queens, New York featured The Acclaimed defeating Swerve In Our Glory to be crowned the new AEW World Tag Team Champions.

Luther & Serpentico Reportedly Among AEW’s Coaching Staff

Tag team Chaos Project, Luther and Serpentico, reportedly are currently working as members of AEW’s coaching team, according to Fightful Select.

It was reported that their sources stated that Luther had been working in a backstage coaching role for the company for some time and even worked as a producer for one of the matches that will air during tonight’s AEW Rampage Grand Slam 2022 show.

Luther’s tag team partner Serpentico reportedly has also recently been working in a coaching role on top of his current job as an active performer for the company. Similar to Luther, Serpentico reportedly has also been helping produce matches for AEW’s Dark and Dark Elevation series. It was reported that it is currently not known how long Serpentico has been working in a coaching role for the company.
