As noted before, CM Punk, AEW producer Ace Steel, Kenny Omega, and The Young Bucks’ Matt and Nick Jackson were involved in a backstage fight incident following AEW’s All Out 2022 event earlier this month. Following the incident, AEW suspended all of them for an indefinite period of time, as well as several others who recently had their suspensions lifted.
Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that his sources stated that Omega and the Young Bucks have not heard anything from the company as of at least a few days ago in regards to the status of their on-going suspensions. Meltzer reported that the current belief is that everything regarding their suspension situation is on hold due to potential legal action issues and another issue that is currently not known.
In regards to the Young Bucks, Matt Jackson recently teased on Instagram that his and his brother Nick’s suspension could be lifted “very soon.” Jackson stated:
“Thank you so much guys for everything and the last 18 years. You guys have supported us and been so great to us, and I really can’t wait to see you guys very soon.”
