* Mickie James vs. Raychell Rose – 2.5
* Kenny King vs. Yuya Uemura – 3.0
* Chelsea Green vs. Taya Valkyrie – 2.5
* Impact Digital Media Championship – Bhupinder Gujjar vs. Brian Myers (c) – 2.5
* Eddie Edwards vs. Heath – 2.5
Overall – 3.0
Best – Doering & Eric Young nighttime outdoors shady house meeting segment.
Worst – The lame DQ ending to the Digital Media Championship match.
Show Notes – Bullet Club vs. Aussie Open Tag opener moments: AO’s Impact entrance theme sounds very generic & mostly awful. AO’s catch & running sandwich smash counter of Bey & Austin’s top rope Flying Nothings. Bey’s kicks fest to AO into Bey’s Slice Bread to Flethcer. Austin’s Fosbury Flop to Davis. Fletcher’s catch & toss to Davis counter of Bey’s Art of Finese into A.O.’s double team Iconoslam to Bey. AO’s Coriolis finisher to Bey. Match itself was a good back-and-forth action bout & fine Impact debut performance by Aussie Open. Honor No More’s backstage segment about Maria Kanellis being proud of OGK winning the Impact Tag titles but more is still left to do, King’s goal to still bring X Division gold to the group, & Edwards’ claiming Josh Alexander will decide which group to side with tonight was all right. Good Bros’ backstage interview about their Impact Tag titles loss and unfinished business with HNM, Motor City Machine Guns’ interruption about them wanting to go after the Tag titles, & match setup was all right. James vs. Rose was a solid back-and-forth bout. Scott D’Amore, Mia Yim, & King backstage segment about King interrupting D’Amore and Yim’s chat, Yim mocking King, King’s mocking retort about Keith Lee’s fatness, and Mike Bailey looking like a crackhead, & D’Amore’s response telling King to wait till next week for his match request decision and match setup with Uemura was a bit funny. King vs. Uemura was a good back-and-forth bout despite the ending shenanigans by Yim. Sami Callihan’s red tone feed breaking video promo about his upcoming Barbed Wire Massacre match with Moose & Maclin was all right. Doering & Eric Young nighttime shady house segment about Doering staying with Young and VBD & mystery cults guys yelling “violence” was cool. Green vs. Valkyrie moments: Valkyrie’s stiff looking curb stomp to Green. Match itself was a solid back-and-forth bout despite the ending shenanigans by Purrazzo & Decay. Vincent & PCO’s backstage segment about Vincent trying to fix PCO to not have any doubts over HNM’s mission was all right. Digital Media title match was going on mostly well until the lame DQ title belt weapon attack by Gujjar. Edwards vs. Heath moments: Heath’s block & Wake Up Call counter of Edwards’ Boston Knee Party into Heath’s Wake Up Call counter of Mike Bennett’s run-in attempt into Edwards’ ref distracted low blow & Boston Knee Party finisher to Heath. Match itself was a solid back-and-forth bout. Post-match promo by Edwards’ calling out Alexander, Alexander’s response about Edwards going crazy over his conspiracies, banter and Alexander rejecting Edwards’ offer, & brawl with HNM and Rich Swann was all right.
Final Thoughts – This week’s show was enjoyable overall.
