Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that the recent rumors and reports of both Miro and Malakai Black recently asking for their releases from AEW are not true.
In regards to Black, it was reported that one of the “unverifiable” sources claimed this past Wednesday that AEW granted his release request which was discovered to be false by those spoken to with the company. It was reported that recent rumors of Black being unhappy backstage are true based on their sources but the rumored reason why is something they have yet to confirm being true.
Those spoken to within AEW reportedly stated that while Black had been unhappy backstage, the issues surrounding the cause of this unhappiness had been recently smoothed over to some degree.
In regards to Miro, it was reported that the source of his release request rumor came from an unverifiable source and also had been denied by those close to the situation. It was also reported that Miro himself has not asked for his release from the company.
