AEW taped this week’s Rampage on Thursday night.


Results

  • Jon Moxley & Claudio Castagnoli defeated The Butcher & The Blade via Ricola Bomb by Claudio on Butcher, while Moxley also hit a Death Rider on Blade
  • Backstage: Keith Lee & Swerve Strickland – Renee Paquette interviewed them backstage. Swerve talked about beating Billy Gunn on Dynamite and Keith Lee called him out for cheating, teasing more dissension between them.
  • Backstage: The Dark Order – Dark Order argued with Jose the Assistant backstage. 10 challenged Rush to a match next week and if he wins, they have to leave Dark Order alone. Dark Order put their hands in together, then an extra hand appeared on the pile… and it was a returning Stu Grayson.
  • In-Ring: Jericho Appreciation Society, Dalton Castle – The JAS came out to the ring for a promo. Daniel Garcia said that when Jericho hit him with a belt and cheated to beat him, it taught him how to win and that sports entertainers beat pro wrestlers. Jericho then talked about how he’s going to beat every past ROH Champion, which brought out Dalton Castle and the Boys. They traded words and they’ll wrestle each other for the ROH title next week.
  • Nyla Rose defeated Anna Jay – After the match, Jade Cargill and the Baddies came down, but Jade was held back by security. She attacked security, but Nyla escaped with the stolen TBS Championship belt.
  • Ethan Page defeated Isiah Kassidy via Ego’s Edge. Page, who’s Canadian, was over with the Toronto crowd. With the win, The Firm now owns Matt Hardy’s contract.
  • Trios Match: FTR & Shawn Spears defeated The Embassy (Brian Cage & Gates of Agony) via C4 by Spears. After the match, Matt Taven, Mike Bennett & Maria Kanellis ran out. Taven & Bennett attacked FTR and Spears, with the Embassy joining in. Wardlow and Samoa Joe then ran out for the save, sending the heels back down the ramp.
