Warner Bros Discovery & AEW Reportedly to Start Filming New AEW Docuseries This November
Warner Bros Discovery and AEW reportedly are currently planning to begin production on a new AEW-based docuseries starting this November, according to Fightful Select.
It was reported that their sources stated that AEW staff and talent were informed this past week that the filming for this new upcoming behind-the-scenes AEW series is currently scheduled to start next month. It was also reported that the filming will be taking place over a period of six weeks, starting with the November 2nd AEW Dynamite show and concluding with the December 14th AEW Dynamite Winter is Coming 2022 special.
AEW CEO Tony Khan reportedly will be working as the Executive Producer for this new series and it is being co-produced by Warner Bros Discovery and Shed Media.
This upcoming new series reportedly is currently scheduled to debut in 2023.
AAA Pulled Plans for Kenny Omega Video Appearance at Triplemania XXX: Mexico City Due to AEW Suspension
As noted before, Lucha Libre AAA had plans for Kenny Omega to make an appearance for the company at this past Saturday’s Triplemania XXX: Mexico City event in Mexico City, Mexico. Those plans were dropped following Omega’s suspension over his involvement in the backstage fight incident at AEW’s All Out 2022 event this past September.
During a recent episode of the Keepin’ It 100 podcast, co-host and Lucha Libre AAA booker Konnan stated that he had asked Omega if he could send a video message for their Triplemania XXX: Mexico City event but Omega told him it would not be possible due to the legal issues over his current AEW suspension.
“I know there are some legal issues because I actually asked Kenny Omega if he could send me a video for Triplemania, whoever wins between Vikingo and Fenix because, you know, he’s the number one contender, and he goes, ‘I still can’t because of legal issues.’ So, there is something legal going on.”
