Nick Gage defeated Jon Moxley tonight at GCW Fight Club to win the GCW World Championship in a match where the title and Gage’s career in GCW were on the line.
The violent match, which featured a pizza cutter, glass panes, light tubes and barbed wire, ended after W. Morrissey ran out with Stokely Hathaway and attacked Moxley, chokeslamming him three times (once through a glass pane). Moxley kicked out, but Gage hit him with three piledrivers and a chokeslam backbreaker for the win.
The idea was that MJF (who wasn’t on the show) sent Morrissey to attack Moxley.
