NJPW Announces New World Television Title & Tournament to Crown First Champion

This past Sunday’s Declaration of Power event for New Japan Pro Wrestling featured NJPW officially debuting a new championship for the company called the NJPW World Television Championship.

It was announced that World TV title matches will be held under a 15-minute time limit and will be be focused on “high-paced matches” and the company’s younger talent.

It was also announced that they will be holding a tournament to crown an inaugural champion throughout their upcoming Battle Autumn 2022 tour, which takes place from October 14th to November 5th.
