As noted before, The Good Brothers’ Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson made their returns to WWE this past October. Following their return, the Good Brothers’ future in New Japan Pro Wrestling was in doubt despite Anderson being the current NEVER Openweight Champion. Anderson was involved in a dispute earlier this month over his double booking for WWE’s Crown Jewel 2022 event and NJPW’s Battle Autumn 2022 event on the same day, which led to Anderson being pulled from NJPW’s event due to his refusal to honor his booking commitment with them.
Anderson recently posted a video on Instagram with The O.C. stating that Anderson will be making an appearance for NJPW at their Super Junior Tag League and World Tag League 2022 Finals event on December 14th in Sendai, Japan. It was also announced that Anderson will be defending his NEVER Openweight Championship at the event. This match is currently expected to be against Hikuleo.
