As noted before, Tasha Steelz recently signed a new contract with Impact Wrestling to remain in the company for the foreseeable future.
Fightful Select reported that their sources confirmed that Steelz’s deal is multiple years in length and her original contract was set to expire in April of 2023. Impact officials reportedly were focused on wanting to make sure Steelz would stay in the company which is why they decided to sign her to a new deal well ahead of her contract’s expiration date.
It was reported that Impact is currently is focused on wanting to sign as many of their talents to new deals who got their first exposure on national television with the company.
It was also reported that Impact’s budget for signings has increased a lot following the recent departures of Eric Young, Chelsea Green, Mia Yim, The Good Brothers, The Kingdom, W. Morrissey, Tenille Dashwood, and others. Impact reportedly has also been more open over the past couple years to the idea of giving per-date type deals to talents.
