Friday’s WWE SmackDown, drew 2,629,000 viewers on FOX, up from the previous week’s 2,376,000 viewers. This past week’s show was notable for featuring the in-ring return of John Cena.
It drew a 0.64 rating in the 18-49 demographic, up from last week’s 0.55.
Last year’s SmackDown on December 31, 2021 drew 378,000 viewers and a 0.08 demo rating on FS1. The January 1, 2021 episode drew 2,013,000 viewers.
